Program Details:
School Lunches Provided – International students will receive lunch each school day as part of the program.
Transportation Responsibility – Host families are expected to provide transportation to and from school, including for special events.
Meals Outside of School – Host families should provide other daily meals such as breakfast, dinner, and weekend meals.
Student Spending Money – Students will bring their own personal funds for shopping, outings, and other personal expenses.
Student Country Preference – Students come from a variety of countries, and host families may be able to request a student from a preferred region.
Hosting Timeframe – The hosting commitment lasts approximately 10 months, from August through early June.
Family and Church Involvement – Including students in family life and church activities is strongly encouraged and greatly valued.
English Proficiency – All students will have some ability to speak and understand English before arrival.
Bedroom Arrangements – Students may share a bedroom with a same-gender host sibling, as long as each has their own bed.
